Ones To Try – Girls Who Grind Coffee.

Girls Who Grind is a coffee brand that immediately caught my eye after spotting them at LCF last year, immediately I was in awe of their ultra cool branding. They are an all female roastery based in the UK, the two founders have roots from Austrailia and America which led them to create a coffee brand with a difference! After LCF, I was dying to try their coffee and placed my order soon after. My first taste of GWGC was their current Girl Crush El Salvador Espresso, and oh my did I fall in love! The flavours in this coffee are incredible, so smooth and rich. The notes are one of my favourites I’ve had in a coffee – apple cider doughnuts, butterscotch sauce and pecans… doesn’t get much better than that does it? Oh wait they also say it includes “fireworks” which I agree as there is a lil kick to the flavour of this coffee. Everyone I’ve trialled this coffee on has had the same re-action as me, obsessed! The second coffee I tried was their China coffee which was produced by a Mother & Daughter team, even more reason to try it. This coffee is insane, I don’t think i’ve ever had another coffee that ACTUALLY tastes like strawberry jam… its a completely different coffee experience and definitely if you are into your coffee is worth a try! Watching these girls boss it out in an industry which is highly dominated by males is incredible which will hopefully inspire more girl bosses in the future!
